Thank god Descendants didnt win. This one guy made Oscar less interesting for me.
Not Tiger Woods's repeat win in Golf or Michael Schumacher's continous winning streak made Formula 1 less interesting for me.
I dont understand this Academy and George Clooney bond. Maybe they made some pact on blood who knows.
Every single time, I go to theater to watch this guy's movie after the Oscar win and whole through the movie I would search for the Oscar element for the win, but never I was able to decode that.
My biggest disappointment was Michael Clayton - I shouldn't say that because half through the movie I was snoring aloud along with others.
No doubt that he is good looking guy, great actor, artist with great talent but no movies deserve Oscar just for casting this guy.
If you want your movie nominated for Oscars give a role to George Clooney.
Angelina Jolie
The dress doesnt need to look good or be extraordinary or unique and perfect.
If Angelina wears that dress then it is rated A+ for no reason. What? She isnt even that goodlooking. I cant stay 10 difference between Marcia Cross of Desperate Housewives and Angelina Jolie. Maybe redhair and blackhair?
Both are tall, bony, wrinkled skin women.
I personally loved Jennifer Lopez dress over everyone's. Kinda reminded me of Miss Universe 2006's Tadaschi collection.
And guys crib if women choose hot, rich, talented guys even if they are married, Angelina is living proof that ugly bony women can be called and adored as hot and sexy if they are with one of those hot and sexy guys.
Would like to buy Kia just for Adrianna? Whatever..

I haven't seen The Descendants yet so I can't really comment on it one way or the other.
ReplyDeleteI think all the women that presented looked beautiful. Angie sticking her leg out was a bit odd but not terribly surprising given that the Oscar's are largely a competition for attention from the press.
I didnt find the leg thing a big deal but everyone other than her were dressed quite ravishing.

ReplyDeleteFor so many films around this time of year, there seems to be a formulaic pattern on how to direct and act in a movie that will get you an oscar. For everyone else watching it though, half the time the movie is just shit.

ReplyDeleteAngelina Jolie was really hot in the Nineties. Somewhere along the line she went from sexy pouty punk chick to... royalty, and I stopped caring.
I'm not the target audience for any of these things, of course. I didn't see a movie in a movie theater in 2011.
I watched her in "Hackers" for first time and was cursing whole night long and then again in "Lara Croft" movie. This time whole week curse.

ReplyDeleteI personally can't stand JLO these days. She was hot back in the early 00's but lately she just creeps me out. THat being said...she did look hot again at the Oscars. The dress and almost seeing her nipples helped =p
